Braun Bell Mug for precision pouring

A simple thing like pouring water into the mug can be a tedious job for a visually impaired. Accepting this is hard for those who get to know when their mug is full. But, after realizing the fact that it isn’t that easy for blind people, Korean designers Sang-hoon Lee and Youn-bum Lim have designed the “Braun Bell Mug”. This mug comes with three hi-tech sensors installed at its inner surface at the back side of the handle and a speaker at its foot, integrating the humanity with technology. The touch buttons on the handle allows for deciding the level to which you want to fill your mug and on reaching the set level, sensors detect it judiciously and the speakers prompts the alert alarm letting you stop pouring. With this supportive design, visually impaired will no more burn their hand due to overspilling of hot beverage and also, they do not need to put their finger to judge the level of filled mug. This easy to detect beverage level mug will now make this simple act of pouring liquid even more simpler for visually impaired too.
