Non Literal Phone: Is it a phone or a sculpture?
Nature with its huge storehouse of floral species not just makes the earth a beautiful place to live on, but it is also a vast source of inspiration for people, especially designers and artist, around the globe. And the latest design named ‘Non Literal Phone’ by the designer Anton Webb is one of those creations that are entirely enthused by the natural environment. Inspired by the Hosta Plant, a foliage plant that flaunts a wide range of solid colors, the Non Literal Phone is actually a basic home phone concept with a Click Wheel-like technology to make phone calls. The Non Literal Phone looks more like a sculpture than a communication device that apart from its functional usage will add to the decor of modern apartments.
